Takashi Hasegawa joined Mitsubishi Bank, Ltd. (currently MUFG Bank, Ltd.) in1988. He worked at a branch, Project Finance Div., Corporate Banking Div., and move to Investment Banking Div. for the Americas in New York in 1999. After studied at Stanford GSB, he returned to Japan in 2005. At The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd. (currently MUFG Bank, Ltd.) , he worked at Investment Banking Planning Div., became Executive Officer for President and then Chief Manager at MUFG Planning Div.. He moved to Hong Kong in 2012 as Deputy GM of Asian Investment Banking Div.. In 2013, he assumed Deputy President of BTMU (China) in Shanghai and Managing Director & Head of Planning Div. for East Asia in 2016. He became Managing Director and Head of Investment Group I of Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Co., Ltd. in 2018 and joined Frontier Management Inc. as Principal Advisor In 2022.

At Mitsubishi Bank, Ltd. /The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd., he was responsible for real estate project finance, corporate banking of a general trading company, syndicated loan arrangement for Japanese companies in the US and securitization planning. He was in charge of the merger of Investment Banking Groups of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd. and UFJ Bank Limited.

At MUFG Bank, Ltd., he conducted making MUFG mid term business plan, and investment banking business in East Asia.

At BTMU(China), he was responsible for HR＆GA, risk management, compliance, system and operation, and conducted HR reform, up-grade of system and operation. At Planning Div. East Asia, he made and promoted a business plan of East Asia and managed branches.

At Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Co., Ltd. , he covered the area of deep tech, fintech, life science, and foreign investments and conducted new investments, value up and exit of the existing investments.
