Kei Otabe
Kei Otabe joined U.S. public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP in 2003 and was engaged in audit services. In 2006, he joined UBS Securities Japan Co., Ltd., where he was engaged in advisory services relating to M&A and corporate finance in the investment banking division′s Global Industrial Group (GIG) and M&A Advisory Group. He subsequently transferred to Greenhill & Co. Japan Ltd., a boutique investment firm headquartered in the U.S., and was involved in M&A advisory services throughout his time there. He joined Frontier Management Inc. in 2012.
He was engaged in investment banking for more than 10 years. He provided diverse investment banking solutions ranging from M&A advisory services to corporate finance advisory services and has practical business experience and knowhow.
At Deloitte & Touche LLP (the Los Angeles office), he was engaged in audit services for U.S. corporations and Japanese corporations in the U.S.
At UBS Securities Japan Co., Ltd., Greenhill & Co. Japan Ltd. and Frontier Management, he has been involved in numerous M&A deals mainly relating to the construction materials, machinery, electronic parts, electrical machinery, chemical and communication sectors.
