Shoji Ogimura joined Yamaichi Securities Co., Ltd. in 1989, and over the next seven years he gained sales experience in targeting high-net-worth individuals. From 1996, he worked as an administrative officer and was involved in the excavation of buried cultural properties for three years. He joined Merrill Lynch Japan Securities in 1999, and was in charge of investment operations that targeted high-net-worth individuals. In 2002, he joined RECOF Corporation, and as Director was mainly responsible for offering M&A advisory services to mainstay small and medium sized companies. In 2015, he joined Frontier Management Inc. and was appointed as Managing Director.

During his tenure at RECOF Corporation., Mr. Ogimura offered services to local banks as well as to the distribution and retail sectors. He offered M&A advisory services related to business succession and business reconstruction to a large number of mainstay small and medium sized companies. He also acquired a wide variety of experience, such as experience in capital and business alliances between listed companies, third-party allocation of shares, takeover bids, and financial advisory services for both buyers and sellers in auction projects.
