After joining Yamaichi Securities Co., Ltd. in 1991, Sumio Nishizawa was consistently involved with wholesale business in the Business Development Division, Syndicate Division, and Financial Instruments Development Division. In 1998 he joined Credit Suisse First Boston’s Tokyo branch (now Credit Suisse Securities (Japan) Limited), where as Vice President he headed the Capital Market and Investment Bank Divisions. In 2003 he was appointed as Director of the Investment Banking Division. Mr. Nishizawa joined Frontier Management in 2009 and was appointed as Managing Director in 2010.

At Yamaichi Securities Co., Ltd., Mr. Nishizawa worked in an advisory capacity to improve the finances of financial institutions and business corporations. He was also involved in the area of fund procurement including structured financing for financial institutions and business-holding companies.

At Credit Suisse Securities, Mr. Nishizawa worked consistently in the field of investment banking for the financial sector. In addition to his advisory roles involving mergers and acquisitions in the financial sector, he was involved in arranging associated acquisition financing, as well as heading and arranging for the financing of domestic and overseas market equity, debt, and structured finances, etc. and promoting collaborative projects with financial institutions.
