Ever since Frontier Management was established in 2007, we have consistently engaged in the consulting business as active participants with a personal commitment to enhancing our clients’ corporate value.
The founding members, primarily from the Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan, have provided business revitalization support and other management consulting and M&A-related services to meet various client needs. Throughout our history, we have offered diverse and sophisticated solutions as a team of specialists and built a framework to provide solutions optimized to the needs of each client.
We do not believe in providing our services with a focus simply on consulting or M&A; rather, we aim to offer the best solutions linked to enhancing clients’ corporate value, meeting the expectations not only of our client companies but also their stakeholders and society. These values are expressed in Frontier Management’s mission, comprising “contributions to the benefit of clients,” “contributions to the benefit of stakeholders,” and “contributions to society.”
Recent years have seen the emergence of various issues in the management environment for mid-level companies, medium-sized and small enterprises. These include a lack of business successors and labor shortages due to the decline in the working population, decreasing productivity, and the decline of regional communities due to depopulation, among other issues. Meanwhile, large companies are also required to address an increasing range of themes such as responding to environmental and social issues, introducing advanced technologies, and strengthening governance. By providing expert personnel and solutions, we help clients address these issues and achieve business survival and growth, contributing to the revitalization of the Japanese economy. We believe that these efforts contribute to a sustainable society.
Our business model enables us to provide seamless support for clients’ drafting and execution of strategies to enhance corporate value, from the formulation and hands-on implementation of management strategies, including the dispatch of management team members, to M&A activities (including cross-border M&A) and PMI. This unique business model is one of our great strengths. Leveraging this strength, we launched our investment business in 2022, and we are building close, long-term relationships with our clients.
Akinori Nishida, President and Executive Officer (COO) , was appointed Representative Director at the Shareholders Meeting held on March 27, 2025. Together with Shoichiro Onishi, Representative Director and Chairman of the Board (CEO) , he will build a new management structure, further enhance Frontier Management’s corporate value and social value, and meet the expectations of all our shareholders.
