Career Summary
From 2004 to 2015, she worked at the China offices of the Big4 accounting firms, engaging in China taxation, transfer pricing, and business advisory services. In 2015, she joined KPMG China Beijing Office as a tax partner in charge of North China Japanese companies, working on taxation, transfer pricing, and business advisory services. In 2017, she transferred to KPMG Shanghai Office as the Tax National Lead Partner for Japanese companies, and was working in China providing business advisory services for approximately 17 years. Since 2022, she joined KPMG FAS working on cross-border operations and restructuring for Japan companys' China business, especially focusing for supply chain restructuring and geopolitical risk management. After working with a US green-energy infrastructure fund, she joined Frontier Management Inc. in 2025.
Achievements
In the tax division of a China BIG 4 accounting firm, she incharged of many transfer pricing projects (transfer pricing analysis, intangible asset valuation, transfer pricing documentation, tax investigations, support for advance pricing agreements and bilateral agreements, global taxation planning, etc.) as well as leading numerous China business-related projects (corporate restructuring, M&A, supply chain reorganization, commercial flow design, cash repatriation planning, tax audit support, withdrawal and liquidation support, tax process optimization, etc.).
At KPMGFAS, as part of outbound services, she supported Japanese company management in formulating business plans related to supply chain reorganization, cash repatriation design, geopolitical risk, decoupling, de-risking, and localization for Chinese business, and also assisted for planning and supporting of establishing local JV companies in China, intra-group restructurings, and M&A or liquidations. She was engaged in the formulation and implementation support of market entry schemes into China for consumer goods and retail companies. As part of inbound services, she supported Chinese companies investing, M&A, and establishing JVs in Japan. Also, she built relationships with various local Chinese governments and Chinese securities companies and funds.
At a US-based infrastructure fund, she was a management role for accounting and tax, supported investment operations management for solar power plants in Japan. She was engaged in executing the GK-TK structure, analyzing cash flow models, executing reorganizations (absorption-type splits and mergers), arranging lender financing, managing budget vs. actuals, etc.
