Career Summary

Worked in positions such as reporter for the Niigata Nippo and in the strategy group at Accenture Japan Ltd, before engaging in corporate planning at BANDAI NAMCO Games Inc. (currently Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.) . After joining Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC and leading numerous strategy formulation support and execution support projects, he was placed in charge of the Corporate Planning Department at SMN Corporation and product planning in the digital marketing domain at its subsidiary. Joined Frontier Management Inc. in 2023.

Achievements

At BANDAI NAMCO Games Inc., he was responsible for the PMO for the renewal of core systems at the President’s Office and Corporate Planning Division , as well as the establishment of a development subsidiary through a carve-out. After transferring to Bandai Namco Studios Inc. , he engaged in achieving more sophisticated business administration and development project management, establishing overseas studios (in Singapore and Canada), and managing the Singapore studio as General Manager of the Corporate Planning Division . He was then seconded to a venture capital firm in San Jose in the US, where he engaged in business development between startups and companies in the Bandai Namco Group.

At Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC, he was engaged in operations such as providing support for production and logistics reforms (including DX) at a major consumer goods manufacturer, business revitalization planning and business valuation (including impairment tests) for the overseas subsidiary of a major transport company, and the formulation of marketing strategies for PE fund investees.

At SMN Corporation, as General Manager of the Corporate Planning Department , he led the restructuring of the business portfolio through measures such as business sales through carve-outs. Moreover, as General Manager of the Product Planning Department at a subsidiary of SMN Corporation, he engaged in developing digital marketing-related solutions utilizing technological assets held by the Sony Group .

At the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University, he established a “technovate course” to consider new management strategies for an era transformed by digital technology, a course which he taught from its inception.
