Achievements

While at Ernst & Young ShinNihon Audit Corporation, Mr. Matsui worked on statutory audits, mainly for manufacturing and service companies. In addition, he was seconded to an investment fund, where he was involved in cultivating investment targets, executing investments in food manufacturing companies, supermarkets, regenerative medicine ventures, etc., and providing hands-on support after the investment.

At EY Transaction Advisory Services Co., Ltd., he was involved in business revitalization and M&A work for multiple industries, and was involved in numerous business and financial due diligence, support for the formulation of management improvement plans, and support for implementation. At Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC, he was part of a team that specialized in adding value mainly for middle-market clients, and was involved in a number of projects, including not only planning but also the construction of management control systems and semi-permanent implementation support.

At Frontier Management Inc., he has been involved in numerous business due diligence and business revitalization planning and implementation support projects for the manufacturing industry, the retail industry (including apparel), and the service industry. He was also involved in the formation and management of funds with financial institutions, and as a party, he was involved in investment reviews and execution, as well as subsequent hands-on support.
