Career Summary
Joined RECOF Corporation in 2004 and was appointed Managing Director in 2017. Over 20 years with RECOF, Mr. Moriyama was continuously engaged in M&A advisory services and has experience in a wide variety of deals, including business acquisitions, management integration, organizational restructuring, carve-outs, mergers, cross-border transactions and corporate revitalization. He joined Frontier Management Inc. in 2024.
Achievements
At RECOF Corporation, Mr. Moriyama gained experience in a wide variety of deals across multiple sectors.
These include acquisitions between companies in the same industry, including acquisitions by major restaurant chains through tender offers, acquisitions of operating companies by private equity funds, management integration between supermarkets, conversion of equity method affiliates into subsidiaries and mergers with wholly owned subsidiaries by chemical manufacturers, carve-outs of food subsidiaries by major food manufacturers, capital and business alliances between chemical manufacturers, establishment of joint ventures with companies in the same industry in Vietnam by domestic real estate development companies, and advisory services for fundamental business restructuring for food manufacturers.
