Career Summary
Joined ITOCHU Corporation , where he handled import and export operations in the Apparel Division . After that, he was involved in the launch and IPO of a cinema complex business, as well as the merger of his family business Nippon Herald Films, Inc. with KADOKAWA PICTURES . In 2005 he joined Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. , where he participated in numerous strategy formulation and implementation support projects. In 2013, he was involved in the launch of Brain and Capital Inc. , (an independent business revitalization fund), and led the value enhancement of the companies in which they invest. Mr. Yamamoto has management experience in business companies. He joined Frontier Management Inc. in 2022.
Achievements
Led the launch of a cinema complex business at Nippon Herald Films, Inc. The company developed four movie theaters in a short period of time and became profitable within a few years of opening. He laid the groundwork for the IPO of Herald Films.
While at Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., he acted as project leader of multiple large-scale business revitalization projects, and also coordinated the overall strategy for a major domestic company.
As a partner in the value-up team at Brain and Capital Inc., he led the execution of investments in four retail companies, each valued at around 10 billion yen . In addition, he provided hands-on management support to the companies receiving investment, achieving improvements in profitability in a short period of time.
