Career Summary

Joined Sumitomo Bank (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) in 1991. After working in departments dedicated to the disposal of non-performing loans, corporate turnarounds, and a management department, he joined the Credit Department in 2014 and was appointed General Manager of the Corporate Credit Department in 2019. Appointed Principal Advisor to Frontier Management Inc. in July 2022.

Achievements

At Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, he was in charge of restructuring large-scale companies that had become problem cases after the collapse of the bubble economy. He has worked particularly hard to address non-performing loans that arose when medium-sized trading companies went bankrupt, and to support the revitalization of struggling general contractors. He has also been involved in many business revitalization projects that required voluntary liquidation and negotiations with financial creditors.

At Frontier Management Inc., he is responsible for providing a variety of solutions to financial institutions such as megabanks and their customers, and in the Management Consulting Department, he is engaged in business planning and execution support work, as well as business revitalization support work, including negotiations with financial creditors.
