Achievements

At DTFA, he has been involved in numerous projects in the pharmaceutical industry, such as acquisitions of overseas CMO companies by domestic pharmaceutical companies, the sale of manufacturing plants (multiple projects), the sale of a business to a foreign pharmaceutical company in a designated disease field, the acquisition of skincare manufacturing and sales companies by a domestic OTC manufacturer, and the sale of a general incorporated foundation specializing in specific business areas. In other industries, he has provided advisory services on a range of projects including the sale of a division of a domestic electronics manufacturer to a fund, joint ventures and commercialization schemes for funds dealing with specialized sectors, the acquisition of education businesses in the U.S. and Asia by a domestic telecommunications company, the operational integration of infrastructure held by multiple prefectures, and the sale of a corporate hospital to a major healthcare group. At Sumitomo Corporation, he worked on joint ventures with university-based venture companies and major hospital groups, as well as providing support for outsourcing manufacturing to overseas CMOs.
