Career Summary
He worked in corporate finance at an IT services company from 2003, before moving to structured finance and syndicated loan formation at MUFG Bank, Ltd. in 2006.
He has been consistently engaged in M&A advisory services at the Singapore branch and Tokyo headquarters of MUFG Bank, Ltd. from 2011, and at a U.S.-based M&A boutique from 2021. He joined Frontier Management Inc. in 2025.
Achievements
Focusing on cross-border transactions by Japanese companies, he has advised in numerous M&A deals across a wide range of business sectors. This includes the investment in a Southeast Asian company by an IT services firm, the acquisition of a U.S. company by an industrial machinery manufacturer, the acquisition of a German company by a chemical manufacturer, the carve-out of a European business by a conglomerate, and the investment in a Southeast Asian REIT by a railway-affiliated developer. He has also assisted numerous listed companies in formulating M&A strategy, as well as providing support for companies entering Southeast Asian countries and engaging in local market research.
