James Horiuchi is Head of US Mergers & Acquisitions at FMI, based in New York since March 2019. He is a veteran corporate finance advisory professional, with 16-year experience in the corporate finance advisory services, with a particular focus on M&A advisory and track record of numerous completed deals for clients in Japan, Europe and US.
Previously James worked at the investment banking / corporate finance department of Mizuho (UK), Credit Suisse (UK, US, Japan), ABN Amro (UK), and BNP Paribas (France).

Various deal types including acquisitions, corporate sales, mergers, spin-offs, divestitures, JVs, LBOs, privatizations, and takeover defense.

Diverse sector coverage, including financial services (previous main focus), business services, chemical / basic materials, oil & gas / utilities, industrials / technologies, and healthcare.
